Pricing & Engagement
Transparent about how we work and what it costs.
We do not publish fixed price lists because every engagement is scoped specifically. What we do publish is how we structure engagements, what is included, and the factors that affect cost - so you can come to the first conversation informed.
We charge for outcomes, not hours. Scope drives price - not seniority theatre.
Most consulting firms have opaque pricing structures designed to maximise billing rather than client value. We take a different approach: every engagement is scoped explicitly, priced transparently, and structured so that the commercial incentives align with your outcome - not our revenue.
Full pricing is discussed in the discovery call and formalised in a written proposal. The guidance below describes our engagement models and the range of factors that influence cost. We encourage you to use this to prepare for that conversation.
How We Engage
Three ways to work with Samura.
Project-Based Engagement
One-time strategy, product build, or campaign
A defined scope with clear deliverables, timeline, and commercial terms. Ideal for market entry strategies, pitch deck projects, SaaS builds, or one-time consulting mandates.
- Defined project scope and milestones
- Named lead consultant throughout
- Regular progress reviews and documentation
- Post-project support window
Typical investment range: AED 25,000 – AED 150,000+ depending on scope.
Typical timeline: 6 – 16 weeks.
Best for: Founders and enterprises with a specific, bounded problem.

Monthly Retainer
Ongoing advisory and delivery oversight
An ongoing consulting relationship with a fixed monthly commitment. Samura provides strategic advisory, delivery oversight, and proactive guidance - not reactive task completion.
- Dedicated monthly consulting hours
- Priority access to the full team
- Monthly strategy review and reporting
- Flexible scope within the retainer
Typical investment range: AED 15,000 – AED 60,000 per month.
Minimum commitment: 3 months.
Best for: Businesses that need consistent strategic input and delivery oversight.
Dedicated Pod
Larger mandates requiring a full team
A named, dedicated team of consultants and engineers assigned exclusively to your engagement. The pod includes a strategy lead from Samura and a delivery lead from Altix Codeit - operating as an extension of your team.
- Named strategy and delivery leads
- Full engineering team allocation
- Daily communication and weekly demos
- Integrated with your internal processes
Typical investment range: Scoped individually - contact us.
Typical timeline: 3 – 12 months.
Best for: Scale-ups and enterprises building a major product or undergoing full transformation.
All figures are indicative guidance in AED. Final pricing is agreed in writing before any engagement begins. There are no retainers that auto-renew without your explicit confirmation.
Pricing Factors
What determines the cost of an engagement.
Engagement duration
Longer engagements involve more consultant time and more deliverables. A 4-week market entry sprint costs less than a 16-week transformation programme.
Seniority of consultants required
Some mandates require a Managing Consultant with 10+ years of sector experience. Others are well-served by a Senior Consultant. The right match affects both outcome quality and cost.
Scope breadth
An engagement covering strategy only costs less than one covering strategy, product engineering, and go-to-market execution simultaneously.
Technology delivery involvement
Pure consulting engagements are priced differently from engagements that involve Altix Codeit's engineering team building a product. Engineering costs are scoped separately based on team size and timeline.
UAE market research requirements
Engagements requiring primary research - market interviews, regulatory due diligence, competitive intelligence - involve additional time that is reflected in the scope.
Ongoing vs. one-time
Project-based work is priced per engagement. Retainer arrangements involve a monthly commitment with a minimum term - the ongoing relationship reduces scoping overhead and is often better value for sustained strategic support.
Pricing FAQ
Common questions.
Do you charge for the discovery call?
No. The initial 60-minute discovery call is at no charge and with no obligation. We use it to understand your situation and assess whether we are the right fit.
How is payment structured?
Project engagements are typically structured with 50% on engagement kickoff and 50% on completion of the final deliverable, with milestone payments for longer projects. Retainer arrangements are billed monthly in advance.
Do you work on a success fee basis?
For fundraising engagements, we can structure a hybrid arrangement - a reduced fixed fee plus a success component tied to a completed raise. This is discussed case by case and must be agreed in writing before the engagement begins.
What if the project scope changes?
Scope changes are addressed through a formal change order process - no additional work begins without written agreement on the additional cost and timeline impact. We do not absorb scope creep silently and then bill for it at the end.
Ready to start?
Ready to have a direct conversation about cost and fit?
The discovery call is the right place to discuss your situation, our approach, and what a scoped engagement would look like. No pressure, no pitch.
